Food Fellowship and Good Discussions
We decided to eat dinner in Negros Lechon Manok after a tiring travel from Tanjay to Dumaguete. It was so exhausting yet it never stopped us from sharing so much about our spiritual life, our blessings and the lessons we learn from all of these.
I had a fun and interesting discussion with Melodine, Doll, Tom and Greg tonight regarding the things we get when people are sharing.
Our discussion went from the IPR, the movie – Skywheel and the sharings and lessons we’ve learned these past few days.
The discussion went to a new level when there were questions about the importance of studying God’s word and learning to discern and test everything that has been shared. I also encouraged the group to understand more on how the words were conveyed, to what situation was it used and what the bible says about these things.
I tried to share so much of what I’ve learned and the importance of basing everything to the written word of God. It was so interesting that the four of them have learned so much and are able to share confidently of what they know also.
Informal discussions such as this is a good avenue to know their concerns and what they are learning from time to time. It’s also a good chance to just mingle with them and share your heart out with the many questions that they have.
But definitely the best way to have food fellowship after a long time!
